Denture Repairs & Relines Tewantin (Same Day Repairs Available)
We fix broken, cracked or loose dentures quickly.
Our in-house dental prosthetist at Tewantin Family Dental, Rob Arthur, can repair and reline most dentures or plates while you wait.
We want you to get back to normal as soon as possible so you can smile and eat your favourite foods with confidence.
What To Do If Your Denture Breaks
Avoid DIY denture fixing as this could damage your plate and cost more to fix.
If your denture breaks, it’s important you don’t try and fix it yourself. DO NOT USE superglue as it can cause permanent damage and complicate the denture repair.
Here’s what to do instead:
Place the denture pieces in a container with a small amount of water
Bring all pieces with you to your appointment
Call us as soon as possible so we can assess your needs and organise to repair it as soon as possible
Your quick action helps us help you. In many cases, Rob may be able to repair your denture on the same day as your appointment.
Emergency & Same Day Denture Repairs
Need a denture repair today?
Loose, cracked or broken dentures don’t have to disrupt your day. We offer emergency denture repairs in Tewantin, with same day appointments available where possible to get your dentures fixed and your smile back.
We understand how frustrating and inconvenient a broken denture can be. That’s why we set aside dedicated appointments for denture repairs. Simple repairs are often completed the same day. More complex cases, such as metal frameworks, may need to be sent to a lab and take longer.
We keep emergency denture repair appointments available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so you’re not left waiting.
Denture Repairs
Broken, cracked or damaged dentures?
If your denture is broken, chipped or fractured, don’t ignore it. Wearing a damaged denture can cause discomfort and further issues. Our dental prosthetist assesses the damage properly and restores strength, fit and function.
Common denture repairs include:
cracked or snapped dentures
chipped or missing denture teeth
broken clasps or components
Denture Relines
Loose or uncomfortable dentures that don’t fit like they used to?
Over time, your mouth and gums naturally change shape. When that happens, dentures can rub, move or feel unstable.
A denture reline reshapes the inside (base) of your existing denture to better fit your gums and mouth, improving comfort, stability and function without needing a full replacement.
Signs you may need a denture reline:
your denture feels loose
it moves when eating or speaking
you’re getting sore spots or rubbing
A reline is often recommended when your denture still looks good but no longer fits properly.
How Much Do Denture Repairs & Relines Cost?
Denture repair and reline costs vary depending on the type of denture, the extent of damage, the materials involved and whether lab work is required.
As a general guide, prices start from:
Denture repairs: commonly $284 – $323 for standard repairs
Denture relines: start from $303.27 - $538.88
A clear quote is provided after assessing your denture, so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.
