What Are Dentures?
Dentures are custom-made false teeth designed to replace missing teeth. They help you eat, speak, and smile with confidence. At Tewantin Family Dental, our dentures are made to look natural and feel secure. When fitted properly, they shouldn't feel bulky, awkward, or obvious.
Dentures are typically for people who:
Are missing some or all of their teeth
Want to replace their current dentures that feel loose, worn or uncomfortable
Want a non-surgical option to replace missing teeth
Feel self-conscious or embarrassed about their current smile
If you’ve been putting up with discomfort or avoiding certain foods, you’re not alone and you’re not out of options.

Most dentures last 5–10 years, depending on wear, fit and changes in your mouth. Ill fitting dentures can damage teeth, reduce your ability to chew and affect your appearance.
